Recently i rewatched the whole trilogy and i asked myself question about the character Cypher( bad guy in first movie). If we assume our world is THE Matrix. Keanu might be this character. In first movie when Cypher decide to sell others to Smith. For this he wants to become someone famous, maybe an actor. There is possibilty that Keanu is this real life celebrity. Also this theory makes much more sense when you remind yourself the dialogue between the Architect and Neo. Architect tells the One that Oracle is program who discovered that 99.9 people accept matrix when they have choice. Maybe all of the movies is way to give us the choice. Keanu killed real Morpheus and the rest of remaining crew to become a celebrity in artficial world of Matrix. This is only fan-made theory, i don't believe it's rea but maybe the producers did it intentionally?
